This group of painted woodcuts depict waterways leading to the sea from various parts of the world where I've visited. Approximately 87% of Earth's land surface is connected to the ocean by rivers. Globally, the number of “dead” coastal zones with inadequate oxygen and nutrients are doubling every decade. Large river deltas serve as recorders of climate and environmental change.
